Modjo Locks

So there I was on Tuesday running around trying to find ways to "fight the unjust system" with little progress I decided that I needed to show alittle love to my neglected dreadlocks. Every girl knows have your hair done will make everythang all right...or a little better anyway.

I have a very hott hair guy, I mean the man looks like he's one of the Marley descendants...mmmmh. Anyway, there I run to the salon in deep Joburg CBD, to my horror, he wasn't there!!!! Could he have forgotten our appointment? I mean how??? I am his favourite customer...this I know for a fact...don't ask me how (too deep, lol). So sadly I went off on my way, very distraught and my hair even more so than I til I remembered a new-ish dreadlock spot in Braamfontein I had noticed but never ventured in since I was oh-so-loyal to my hair guy. I decided that I should check it out, what did I have to lose?

This very stylish, very urban-chic spot is called Modjo Locks. Not only are they stylists but they offer their own manufactured hair care products which "are beneficial to ethnic hair by supplying the essentials known to enhance hair growth, improve hair texture, and provide a healthy scalp and balance moisture."

I loved the in interior; simplistic, bright, ethnic-urban chic, very open with the double volume ceilings, cool lighting features and so clean! They could put more artwork up on the large walls though. The staff is very friendly and makes you feel very comfortable which especially important since you are trusting them with your image (hair is very important).

I put some subtle colour in my hair and had it twisted real good with a few locks a bit loose to let me whip my hair alittle
(cues Willow Smith hit song Whip my hair lol)

So what y'all think?
